Abstract
Rational planning and organization of the dental care units in the Regional Military Medical Service should be based on evaluation of the baseline dental incidence data and treatment effectiveness analysis in the affixed con- tingent. In the Central Military Region dental morbidity level remains high, has no tendency to stabilize and ranks at the second place after therapeutic care seeking. Analysis of the dental care seeking data by the contract military servicemen showed that among the negative trends in the dental health among the mentioned contingent the increase of dental care seeking (+353‰), including new cases (+303 ‰) should be noted, due to preventive examination enrollment lowering which is indicated a high prevalence and intensity of dental diseases. The prevalence of middle-aged people among the examined contingent requires preventive measures strengthening for the early finding of various nozological forms of dental pathology. Thus, the obtained data on dental health changes with a negative direction require a revision oforganization and prevention approaches and sanation measures among contract military servicemen, as well as the revision of the organizational structure in dental care units of the troop level.
