Abstract
Conducted a retrospective analysis of the 294 patients with tuberculosis spondylitis (TS), operated in the De- partment of Phtysiopulmonology St. Petersburg Scien- tific Research Institute in 2012-2014. Of these, 32 pa- tients had HIV-infection. The lack of specific clinical criteria for the diagnosis of the TS, absolutely confirm- ing the etiology spondyliti in the early stages are the cause of diagnostic errors, the frequency of which is up to 73,4%. Consequently, more than one third of patients (128 patients) received for surgical intervention only through 13-16 months from the moment of diagnosis. By that time the patients had a common and compli- cated forms of the TS. The TS in HIV-infected patients differs prevalence process, bright clinical symptoms.
