Abstract
The team of the Thoracic department Sokolov' Hospital N 122 congratulates Pischik Vadim Grigorievich with the 50-years anniversary. During his hard work, he has achieved success in clinical and scientific fields. He has gone a long way from a young surgeon to one of the most experienced thoracic surgeons, routinely performing thoracoscopic operations of any volume, training young doctors contemporary surgical techniques, giving masterclasses.
His scientific activity deserves even more respect. Thoracic surgeons still use recommendations from his dissertations. On the basis of the articles, doctors improve their techniques. Moreover, Vadim Grigorievich annually organises cardiothoracic congresses, takes part in scientific meetings, and even had an honour to give lectures at Cambridge university. Almost 20 years he educates students, residents, and Ph.D. students of Saint Petersburg state university. His reverent attitude to people is appreciated by colleagues, patients, and their relatives, that’s why he has been nominated on several awards for best doctors. We congratulate Vadim Grigorievich with jubilee from the heart.
