Abstract

Aim: to analyze surgical results of TBC patients with tuberculosis and HIV infection, who had radical lung resection. Data on clinical records of patients who had radical lung resections in 2016-2017 were analyzes retrospectively. The data from tubercular department of lung surgery N 2 and N 3 of Postnikov N.V. Samara state clinical TB dispensary. The surgical results of 23 patients were analyzed. The results were analyzed by the data in clinical record at when discharged from hospital. All in all in 2016-2017 1181 surgeries for 968 patients were fulfilled. 572 cases were radical lung resections for tuberculosis, surgeries for patients with HIV - 4,4% (25 cases). All radical operations on lung tuberculosis for patients with HIV in Postnikov N.V. Samara state clinical TB dispensary in 2016-2017 were effective, with no postoperative complications and mortality. Patients with HIV get mostly conservative lung resections. The percent of surgeries using endoscopic equipment among such patients is about 64%.
