Abstract
New data on tuberculosis pathomorphism and pathology diagnosis formulation in cases of death of tuberculosis and HIV patients and patients with co-infection are presented. Such cases are common in pathology and forensic medical examination practices, reflecting TB pathomorphism negative phase. At the same time, there is no unified opinion regarding diagnosis formulation in HIV-infection and tuberculosis co-infection. The term “secondary diseases” is ordered to be used being included in the structure of “main disease”. The new concept “leading main disease” is introduced, which allow simplifying the comparison of clinical and pathomorphological diagnosis. The algorithm of diagnosis construction in HIV/tuberculosis co-infection to be done with regard to the stage of HIV-infection, type and prevalence of tuberculosis process and the presence of other secondary diseases. Tuberculosis association with HIV-infection, alcoholism, drug addiction and other HIV-associated diseases make the clinical and pathomorphological diagnostics of the diseases and pathological processes to be quite complicated issue.
