Abstract
A review with some original author's data and clinical cases included deals with the problem of pathogenetic relations between connective tissue dysplasiae (especially, those with Marfan-like phenotype) and spontaneous pneumothorax. The pathogenesis and clinical manifestations of spontaneous pneumothorax in this type of patients are discussed as well.
