Abstract
The objective of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the usage of allogenic mesenchymal stem cells of the bone marrow (MSCs) (5 million/ml once) in combination with the specific therapy for experimental female genital tuberculosis in rabbits. It is shown that the addition of MSCs to antituberculous therapy reduces the severity of sensibilization and the activity of a specific inflammatory process, prevents the deformation of the ampulla of the fallopian tube, contributes to the restoration of its structural and functional integrity, prevents earlyfibrosis and provides repitelization of the inner lining of the fallopian tube.
