Standardized interpretation and control of identified single lung nodule by the Lung Imaging Reporting and Data System (Lung-RADS ™)

Abstract

This paper presents an algorithm for the evaluation of single focal lesions in the lungs developed by the American Radiological Society Lung Imaging Reporting and Data System (Lung-RADS ™). This system is a tool for ensuring the quality of standardization and interpretation of CT data and facilitating the monitoring of results in various medical institutions. This system is an integral part of a set of standards dedicated to the interpretation of ray images (BI-RADS, CAD-RADS, LI-RADS, etc.). These standards are a necessary tool that helps radologists and clinicians to understand each other.
