Abstract
Students are special TB risk group as they are the most socially and economicly unprotected. Study of general medical competence of students and knowledge of tuberculosis particularly is an important medical and social proposal. Results of questioning of students of high schools and colleges at the age of 18-23 years - 630 questionnaires - are analyzed and Pearson's correlation was calculated. Dependence between value of health life among students of 18-23 years and educational institutions, religion, sex and family status of respon- dents is established. The majority of interviewee trusts to official medicine and understand importance of healthy lifestyle. However young people especially young men are not inclined to visit of the health centers. Students preferred experts or Internet as the most desirable sources of health life information. More than a third of students informed that on doctor reception medical staff never discussed about tobacco smoking, nutritionor physical activity or did it very seldom. Study showed that it is necessary to increase hygienic education of non-medical students.
