Abstract
The article discusses federal clinical recommendations«The Syndrome of Tobacco Dependence, the Syndrome of Tobacco Cancer in Adults», adopted in May 2018. The data of scientific research confirming the need to involve doctors of all specialties in the provision of medical care in tobacco cessation, the effectiveness of various drugs for the treatment of nicotine dependence in smokers, pregnant women and patients with mental illness, as well as the impact of quit smoking in patients with respiratory diseases, of cardio-vascular system.
