The article shows the stages of development of the doctrine of the pathogenesis of tuberculosis, describes the work of the Moscow school V.G. Shtefko and V.I. Puzik’s phthisiologists, who have made fundamental contributions to the theory of the pathogenesis of tuberculosis.
