Abstract
The myocardial muscular bridge is one of the underestimated, in clinical practice, congenital anomalies of the coronary arteries, which can have a significant impact on the clinical course, prognosis and outcomes of coronary heart disease, and in some cases can cause sudden cardiac death, including at a young age. The purpose of the article, once again, to draw the attention of practitioners, cardiologists, therapists, general practitioners, doctors of physical rehabilitation medicine and doctors of other specialties to this topic on a specific clinical example. The article summarizes the historical aspects of the topic, diagnostic issues, classification, treatment approaches and features of medical rehabilitation. A clinical case of a patient with a myocardial bridge of HRQ with a characteristic clinical picture and reliable instrumental confirmation was also presented.
